Griz fans asked to set noise record on Saturday

Griz Noise Record Notes Get Acrobat Reader

The country already knows that Washington-Grizzly Stadium is the loudest football venue in the FCS.
But on Saturday we make it official.
During the Military Appreciation game vs. Eastern Washington on October 26, we will have a digital decibel reader in the stadium to measure the noise level of the crowd. The goal is to set the FCS record for noise while also reaching such a level that puts us on par with pro stadiums (the Kansas City Chiefs registered a 137.5 reading earlier this season).
We ask all fans who attend Saturday's game to get as loud as possible when Eastern Washington is on offense. We will measure decibel levels throughout the whole game so please make sure to never let up.
Although we will wait until Saturday to call our stadium the loudest in the FCS there is something that we can lay claim to right now: We have the best fans in the country. Thanks for your support and we will see you this weekend.
