What was said - Part 4

In the FCS Huddle: Week 12 Preview

By Sean Shapiro, FCS Assistant
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - ...

No. 7 Montana Grizzlies (8-2, 6-1 Big Sky) at No. 1 Montana State Bobcats (9-1, 7-0), 2:05 p.m. (KPAX)
Series record: Montana leads, 69-36-5
Last meeting: Montana State 21, at Montana 16 (Nov. 20, 2010)
What to know: One of the FCS' more storied rivalries, "The Brawl of the Wild" will serve as the Big Sky championship game this season, with the winner taking the conference's automatic bid and likely a playoff seed.
With so much on the line, it's appropriate the anticipation for this game has been building for two weeks, if not for the whole season. Both teams had a bye last week, something Montana State benefited from last season when it defeated Montana, 21-16.
In a game featuring two high-powered offenses, the key question is which defense will be able to contain its opponent. Montana State is ranked fifth in the nation for total defense (459.4 ypg) and scoring offense (36.6 ppg), while Montana's offensive unit isn't too far behind (415.4 ypg, 32.1 ppg).
Prediction: Montana State 34, Montana 31
